All the Apple fans want to know, when is the iPhone 5 coming out? Katy Huberty clearly said to her customers, “Apple’s next iPhone will begin production in mid-to-late August and ramp aggressively,” meaning that the iPhone 5 will be ready for purchase this September. According to our calculations, the iPhone 5 will be released in the first month of September, on about the 7th.
There are also rumors circulating that at the time of the release of the iPhone 5, there will be another, cheaper, phone from Apple being released, the iPhone 4S. The main difference between the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4S is that the iPhone 4S will be most likely be available for pre-paid carriers, while the iPhone 5 won’t. Rumors also say that the iPhone 4S will be a lesser version of the iPhone 5, due to it’s lowered price.
Tim Cook, the COO of Apple, acknowledged during and interview that Apple is, “not avoiding pre-paid,” and adding, “we know we need to play there”. He also said that, ““If we can do that and the price is lower, we’ll do it”, another hint of the existence of an iPhone 4S.
iPhone 5 will most likely be released September, otherwise, the iPhone 5 would not be regularly available in stores by the holiday season. Another reason why it will probably be released this September is because as new Androids keep coming out and are getting better by the day, there is only one iPhone releasing every year.
