iPhone 4S Battery Life is Terrible, Customers Complain

Published by appleinquirer on October 31st, 2011 - in Information, iPhone

Thought the iPhone 4S has been a “bestseller” it does have one major issue, battery life. Many customers are complaining about the battery life of their phone, one they say barely lasts four hours. One customer even reported losing “15% an hour in standby”. Apple engineers are puzzled about why this might be happening. Some say it is iOS 5, and some just say it is the phone. Personally, I have reported about 4-5 hours of medium use (a little texting, iMessaging, some e-mail, minimal use of calling and internet) all while on a Wi-Fi network. Though battery cases such as the one Mophie makes are always an option, Apple needs to solve this problem, fast.

Many consumers are so disappointed with their battery life (many business people) that they have dropped the phone entirely. It has been reported that the battery life on the iPhone 4S is “even worse than the original iPhone”, forget the iPhone 4. Many other customers are starting to lose hope in iPhone ever since the problem with the antenna on the iPhone 4. Whatever happens, Apple will need to fix this problem, for the sake of their new phone’s repuation.
