The next generation iPhone is rumored to release in October 2012, one year after the release of the iPhone 4S. Though the phone may not be ground-breaking, there are some key features that are going to be included.
Many rumors say that the new iPhone may feature a bigger screen. Steve Jobs was the only person holding back the bigger screen, and now that Tim Cook is in charge, things might change. Many think the screen might be 4 inches, and some even say that it will be 5 inches, but that’s a bit far off. Though Apple may be planning a larger screen, they will have some problems with the developers that are currently creating applications for the iPhone’s current 3.5 inch display.
The iPhone will be featuring 4G and LTE, considering that it was included in the new iPad. Of course, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will carry plans to support the improved internet services offered by the new phone.
The new iPhone is also rumored to be the first world iPhone. This means that it will be able to work anywhere on the globe. The three antennas that will be included will make it easier to talk wherever you are.
Another speculation in the new iPhone is that it will include an 8 Mega-Pixel camera with 1080 HD support.
The new iPhone is also rumored to include an A6 quad-core processor and better graphics.
Though the new iPhone won’t be groundbreaking, it will be quite a step up from the iPhone 4S especially if you will take advantage of 4G LTE and the upgraded processor.
